Nichias Europe announced the launch of their new high-performance microporous insulation - ROSLIMTM Board GH. This product offers high-temperature insulation, best in class machinability, good board strength and very low dusting.

The microporous board was specifically designed for advanced fuel cell applications but found its equal use as insulation material in furnaces and semiconductor manufacturing devices as well.

Being popular in the market in Asia, we are now looking to introduce ROSLIMTM in Europe. Below are just a few reasons why ROSLIMTM is currently the number one choice.

Saniclean™ is a sanitary tri-clamp gasket made from EPDM rubber with the added protection of a PTFE outer coating. These two are bonded to form one unitized product. As such Saniclean™ behaves like an elastomer but maintains chemically inert characteristics of a PTFE.

Due to the PTFE outer cover, Saniclean™ offers high chemical and contaminant resistance present in many food and beverage processes. After all, PTFE remains stronger than standard rubber with its anti-flavouring properties significantly reducing washing time when changing flavours. Whatever the cleaning process, confidence can be placed in this sanitary gasket for not suffering any damage.

Resists High Temperature up to 1000˚ C and Pressure up to 43 MPa

VORTEX ™ Gasket-NM is a spiral wound gasket using NM material. NM material is developed by NICHIAS to overcome the chronical problem of vermiculite and graphite.

Vermiculite and graphite are known to have a problem in sealability and weakness in oxidant resistance, respectively. Dur to its unique structure, NM material solves these issues by extending its sealing lifetime and resisting to oxidization.

Exclusively to NICHIAS, VORTEX ™ Gasket-NM is a sealing solution for critical operation - high temperature and high pressure with flammable or toxic water/oil/gas medium for long useful time.

We have supplied VORTEXTM gaskets since 1952, which have been used in various industries such as petroleum refinery, petrochemical, power plant, gas and automobile industries. Although VORTEXTM is the name of our product, it is the generic term in these industries in Japan for spiral shaped gaskets, showing the high level of recognition and trust of the NICHIAS brand.

We supply not only VORTEXTM gaskets but also many different types of gaskets. Harnessing our technology to block liquid and gas leaks, we continue to seek out new opportunities to help customers globally.

Terminology

NICHIAS has developed a new high-performance steam resistant o-ring - BLAZERTM S2. Existing perfluoro-elastomers are struggling to handle vapour, hot water and a wide range of chemicals (e.g. amines, esters, ethers, ketones, acids, bases, hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents).

BLAZERTM S2 was developed as a prime sealing solution which offers reliable performance against all of the above even in rapid decompression environment.

With all these characteristics, BLAZERTM S2 is the right FFKM part for devices including valves, pumps, turbomachinery, coating machines, centrifuges, agitators, analysers and reactors. With increased reliability, it also reduces maintenance costs.
